Greetings from me - Sam Carr - Owner/Operator of Northern Eagle Excavation LLC.  I have a 5 yard dump truck and a 8,000 excavator with thumb, blade, 3 buckets, and hydraulic quick release for swapping buckets.

A little about me
I started excavating in 1998 as a laborer/pipe layer and worked for multiple commercial contractors on commercial jobs. Moving up the ranks quickly I earned positions as pipe foreman, equipment operator, and excavator operator/foreman before starting my own company.

I have decades of excavation and pipe experience (25 years) and was previously a sub contractor for the largest sewer and environmental services company in Portland’s east side.

I also hold a “competent persons shoring safety card”. Boulder work become a passion of mine. I enjoy the creativity and serenity of making beautiful scenery and enjoy seeing my customers dreams become reality.

On the more technical side, I read blue prints and can excavate, install, and build grade accordingly. In 2012, I passed my Oregon Commercial Contractors Board exam earning my Oregon CCB license giving me legal capacity to start my first company and write contracts.

“On Grade Excavation & Utilities Inc.” ccb #194165 was my first company, and a decade later I formed “Artistic Boulderworks llc.” ccb #205458 both in Oregon.

I recently moved north to Washington and I am now “Northern Eagle Excavation llc.” UBI #605-355-141. Please feel free to ask me for references and or pictures, or any other information you need to make your decision.
